Reading/Writing
Infants will be exposed to books, spoken language, songs, and repetitive rhymes in a print-rich environment. As they get older they work towards learning letters and sounds, and eventually writing.
Math/Science
Infants are offered opportunities to interact with different shapes, sizes, colors, and patterns to build number awareness, especially through toys and books. Toddlers and older children will begin to understand number sense and be able to categorize. Infant learning is rooted in sensory exploration, as they begin to make sense of the world through experimenting with how to make things happen. As they get older they begin to explore scientific thinking and engineering.
Art
Providing responsive caregiving to childs not only helps them begin to regulate their emotions and gain a sense of safety and predictability in their social environments, but also strongly supports attention and learning.
All age groups benefit from opportunities to experience and explore visual arts, music, dance, and dramatic play.
Critical Thinking
Early brain development is dependent on a multitude of factors, including caregiver responsiveness, exposure to language and conversation, nutrition, and physical activity. In our daycare curriculum, we take a holistic approach to support growth in all areas.
Infant (6 weeks to 12 months)
Your baby will thrie from the warmth and care that comes from a close relationship with our carefully selected teachers. The atmosphere is surrounded with many stimulating objects and opportunities to explore and grow in a truly nurturing environment. Your baby’s daily routine consists of indoor play, nature walks, story time, tummy time, music time, art time and lots of affection.
Toddlers (13 to 36 months)
The curriculum used is the Creative Curricul. Under a warm watchful eye, your toddler will develop feelings of confidence and competence. We understand that at this stage toddler’s practice independence but need trusted adults as a secure base of support. The environment is designed to offer toddlers chances to be in control and to participate in group play, imaginary play and independence activity wherein cooperation and sharing is fostered.
Preschool (36 to 47 months)
The curriculum used is the Creative Curriculum. The children at the preschool level are developing and learning in all areas of human functioning: physical, social, emotional and cognitive (including language, perception, reasoning, memory and other aspecs of intellectual development). Our curriculum is based on a monthly theme with an emphasis on letters, numbers, shapes, color, writing and reading skills. Your child will be kept busy and will develop a love for learning the fun way.
